Everything You Need to Know

Welsh Therapy supports emotional healing, personal growth, and long-term wellbeing through a compassionate, client-centred approach, helping you build clarity, confidence, and inner peace on your journey toward a healthier life.

Getting Started with Welsh Therapy Global

No, you do not need a referral to access our services. You can contact us directly to schedule an initial consultation. However, if you have a referral from a GP, paediatrician, or another specialist, it can provide valuable information for our assessment process.

The first step is to book an initial consultation. This is a confidential meeting where we listen to your story, understand your goals, and explore how we can best support you. From there, we can recommend the most appropriate assessments and services.

We understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another client who may be waiting for a session.

We support a wide range of individuals. This includes children with developmental delays, learning difficulties, or sensory needs; teens navigating emotional or social challenges; and adults recovering from injury, managing neurological conditions, or seeking support for their mental health and well-being.

About Our Therapy Sessions

This varies depending on the service and individual goals. For children, sessions are often play-based, engaging, and structured to build skills in a fun way. For adults, sessions are collaborative and goal-focused, involving discussion, targeted exercises, and practical strategy-building.

Standard therapy sessions typically last between 45 to 60 minutes. Assessment sessions may be longer, which will be communicated to you in advance.

The duration of therapy is unique to each person and is based on their specific goals, the complexity of their needs, and their rate of progress. We create a personalised therapy plan with a proposed timeline and review it regularly with you to ensure it remains effective.

Absolutely. We believe in a family-centred approach and see parents and caregivers as essential partners. Your involvement will vary depending on the therapy, but we are committed to working collaboratively with you and providing you with strategies to support progress at home.

Fees, Funding & Logistics

Our fees are based on the type and duration of the service provided. For a detailed schedule of our fees, please contact our administrative team, who will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information.

We can support clients with various funding options. Many of our clients utilise their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding (if they are self-managed or plan-managed). Some services may also be eligible for rebates through private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. We also, of course, accept private payment.

We understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another client who may be waiting for a session.

We offer flexible therapy to suit your needs. You can have sessions in-clinic at our modern facilities, in the comfort of your home, or conveniently online via our secure telehealth platform.
